Craig Wallace
Craig Wallace is a seasoned Commercial Project Estimator and Project Manager at Wayside Garden Center, where he has been an integral part of the team since 1986. Beginning his career in the nursery and retail sales, Craig transitioned to the landscaping division, where he advanced to Foreman Crew Leader, overseeing field operations and managing projects directly. In 2000, he took on his current role, where he excels in coordinating labor, materials, and schedules to meet the needs of general contractors and project owners.
With extensive field experience, Craig efficiently manages a variety of projects, including those for medical facilities, universities, retail spaces, local school districts, and large residential developments. His expertise spans custom paver installations, large retaining walls, athletic fields, site amenities, landscape plantings, sodding, and seeding.
Craig’s strong leadership and technical skills are backed by six years of service in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he was trained in heavy equipment operation and served as a combat engineer, finishing his service in 1993 as a drill instructor. He holds a degree in Landscape Development/Horticulture from SUNY Morrisville and is a lifelong resident of the Palmyra-Macedon area.
